a. January 2026 — TBC Law Expands to Boise

  1. TBC Law has opened a new office in Boise to better serve clients throughout the Treasure Valley and southern Idaho. Attorneys Casey Hemmer and Dustin Charters, along with paralegal Abigail Manzano, are based in the firm’s Boise office, but continue to serve clients state-wide.
  2. The expansion strengthens TBC Law’s presence in southern Idaho and reflects the firm’s continued commitment to providing effective representation in civil litigation and insurance defense matters across the state of Idaho.

b. November 2025 — TBC Law Prevails on Motion to Dismiss Involving Idaho Seat Belt Statute

  1. TBC Law and attorney Dustin Charters successfully obtained dismissal of claims asserted against a healthcare professional arising out of the transportation of a patient. The claims were based on alleged injuries sustained during transport and implicated Idaho’s seat belt statute.
  2. The decision reflects the court’s application of Idaho’s seat belt statute and resulted in dismissal of all claims at the pleading stage.

c. October 2025 — TBC Law Successfully Defends Emergency Medicine Provider at Trial

  1. TBC Law and attorneys Nicole Cannon and Casey Hemmer obtained a defense verdict following a two-week jury trial in Ada County. The medical malpractice action arose from a wrongful death claim. The jury found that the emergency medicine provider was not liable and awarded no damages to the plaintiffs.
  2. The verdict reflects the firm’s trial experience and its continued commitment to defending healthcare professionals in complex civil litigation matters across Idaho.

d. October 2025 — TBC Law Successfully Defends Insurer in First-Party Property Damage Dispute

  1. TBC Law and attorney Dustin Charters obtained a favorable arbitration award on behalf of an insurer in a first-party property damage dispute. The arbitrator ruled in the insurer’s favor, finding that the insurer had paid the amount justly due and owed no further sums.

e. October 2025 — Attorney Dustin Charters Presents at Insurance Claims Conference

  1. Attorney Dustin Charters of TBC Law presented at an annual insurance claims conference in Boise. He spoke to the property damage group on topics including Idaho Code § 12-120 demands, claim handling practices, and alternative dispute resolution provisions.
